Royston is 42 miles north of London at the junction of the A10 and A505. The Cave is a 1 minute walk from the Town Hall car park and 5 minutes from Royston rail station. The entrance is just inside the passageway of a double-fronted building on the north side of Melbourn Street, close to the traffic lights at the junction with Lower King Street.

Entry is by guided tour only. Tours start at 2.00pm, 2.40pm, 3.20pm and 4.00pm.
No advance booking but timed tickets can be purchased on the day from the guide at the cave entrance between 1:30 and 1:55.

Please note: On the rare occasion the Cave floods it will be closed without warning for health and safety reasons.
Please note: The Cave can be slippery underfoot. Visitors are advised to take care, use the handrail, and wear appropriate footwear.
